EDUCATION ASSOCIATION
For each student, we will inspire a love for learning, empower the pursuit of personal aspirations, and nurture a desire to contribute to the world.
Each District 155 school is proud to offer a multitude of clubs, organizations, and extracurricular activities that nurture students' interests, develop their talents and
leadership skills, and serve the community.
Cary-Grove
CG's 2016 musical, "Cinderella", was named Best Production in the state of Illinois by Broadway In Chicago's Illinois High School Music Theater Awards.

Interact, CG's community service club, donates hundreds of presents annually to inner-city youth as part of its Letters to Santa program.

Jazz Combo received the Outstanding Performance award at the Evanston Jazz Festival with two students earning Outstanding Soloist Awards.
Science Olympiad team members place in several events, including Bommilever, Experimental Design, Robotic Arm, Designer Genes, Forestry, and Water Quality.
Individual Events speech team placed first at FVC conference tournament and its members ALL advanced to sectional competition (a feat matched by only 11 schools in the state).
Crystal Lake South
French Club organized Culture Clash with a 32-team volleyball tournament hosting over 200 students.
Math Team took 1st place at a Regional tournament at Northern Illinois University.
Science Olympiad students placed in 2013 at State in Geocaching, Write It Do It, and Green Generation.
In 2013, WYSE (Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering) placed 2nd at regionals as a team, and individual students took 2nd in English and 4th in biology at the State competition. In 2012, the team placed 3rd at regionals, and one student placed 4th in State in biology. In 2010, the team placed 2nd at regionals, 3rd at sectionals, and 10th in State.
Crystal Lake Central
Comedy Club, the improv and sketch comedy troupe, participates annually in the "Hilarity for Charity" to raise money for the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association (NISRA).

Band program consistently places students into Illinois Music Educators Association All-District and All-State Bands and was selected to perform at IHSA State Volleyball Finals in 2010.
Madrigals completed its 44th Season, making this Illinois’ oldest continuous high school madrigal dinner.
Science Olympiad consistently ranks as one of the best teams competing with schools such as Stevenson and New Trier. CLC hosts one of the largest invites in Illinois Science Olympiad.
Prairie Ridge
German Club exchange trip through the German American Partnership Program

A Cappella Singers was selected to perform at the 2015 ILMEA All-State Music Festival. Prarie Ridge's choral program consistently sends choral students to the all-state festival, the highest honor in the state for high school musicians.

Literary Magazine published a 60-page full-color collection of student artwork, photography, and original writing
Individual Events speech team: 2 students advanced to the state tournament
Musical gives approximately 150 students experience working on or off stage
Scholastic Bowl JV team undefeated in conference play 2012-2013 season
